Ex-Georgian official to stop hunger-strike in prison

The jailed former Georgian minister of defense, Irakli Okruashvili, is stopping his hunger-strike, Georgia Online reported.
The ex-official declared the protest on December 18, expressing solidarity with others accused of creating an armed gang in 2011 and not listed as political prisoners.
The Georgian Party, of which Okruashvili is the founder, has said in a statement that those persecuted by the government and not declared political prisoners yet are stopping g the hunger-strike and continuing the struggle.
