Although Armenia’s ex-premier, Chairman of the Freedom Party Hrant Bagratyan has announced his nomination in the 2013 presidential election, which does not mean, however, that Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Chairman of the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), has no intention to run for presidency.“I have never said that. I have no right to,” Mr Bagratyan told journalists on Monday. He informed the ANC leader of his intention months ago. With respect to the ANC leader’s response, he said: “I cannot make private talks public.”If the ANC leader runs for presidency, Mr Bagratyan will withdraw his candidacy. “If I see he wants to run for presidency I will not make people choose between Bagratyan and Ter-Petrosyan,” he said.“I am well aware of my personal value and ratings,” Mr Bagratyan said.
