Eurovision 2013: Armenia opts for ‘internal selection=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=

Armenia will select its representative and song at this year’s Eurovision song contest through an “internal selection”, according to the national broadcaster.

The Public Television of Armenia has decided to set up a special commission of specialists to make the selection, promising to publish all details of the process by March 10.

Last year Armenia also had originally chosen to select its Eurovision entry song and participant through a panel of experts, but eventually skipped Europe’s biggest pop music contest due to conflict with Azerbaijan, the host of the 2012 show.

This year’s Eurovision will be held in Malmo, Sweden, on May 14-18.
