Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan believes the latest evaluation in a leading survey of Armenia’s economy as one of the freest among former Soviet nations will give further boost to the current reform being carried out in the country.

“We have progressed in the index of economic freedom and improved our position. This gives us quite an optimistic incentive, so that we could continue the reforms we have started. This index of economic freedom is in the centre of attention of the investors and the improvement of our positions there is of a certain importance for us,” he said at a meeting of his Cabinet on Thursday.
