Armenia’s ex-premier, Chairman of the Freedom party and one of the candidates in the upcoming presidential election in Armenia Hrant Bagratyan, if elected Armenia’s president, will nominate as many 20-30-year-old members of different political forces as possible to government posts.
“I can invite my good friend Hrair Simonyan to fill the premier’s post. He is a very good economist and is in Moscow now. Alexander Arzumanyan and Vladimir Karapetyan are serious candidates for the post of foreign minister. We have good economists – ex-premier Armen Darbinyan, for example,” Mr Bagratyan said in a Facebook conference on Azatutyun Radio.“We also have a couple of well-educated economists in the Republican Party of Armenia,” he added.Mr Bagratyan believes that Armenia has no personnel problem, and has high-level educational qualification.“We can form economic staff of the young people that studied abroad,” he said.Asked about his hopes, Mr Bagratyan said: “Show me anyone cleverer than I am. Why should not I become president?”
