Municipal polls 2013: Opposition bloc meets voters Yerevan district

Ahead of the Yerevan municipality election, the opposition bloc Barev Yerevan (Hello Yerevan), conducted a meeting with voters in the Arabkir administrative district to address the existing problems in the capital city and propose solutions.
Deputy leader of the opposition Heritage party Armen Martirosyan, who is a top candidate n the bloc’s proportional representation ballot, said it is necessary to create a governance system capable of resolving the existing difficulties. “I not only use car but also have to take public transport from time to time, and I see what is going on in public transport. We definitely believe that it is necessary to create a governance system which would help resolve those problems,” he noted.
Speeches were further delivered by other bloc candidates running for the City Council.
A member of Armenia’s fourth National Assembly, Gagik Baghdasaryan, promised in his address that their top candidate will be the best mayor in the third republic’s history in case of being elected.
