While the Constitutional Court is viewing the petitions of two former presidential candidates appealing the official election results, another issue has become the focus of attention in the post-election struggle – the denied permission to put out a tent for the opposition leader on hunger strike.

Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian, the official runner-up in the February 18 poll challenging the official results, has been on hunger strike for five days now and his supporters have been trying to get permission to put out a tent in the Liberty Square, but police reject the request.  Read more… (307 words, 4 images)
